SPB software announced last Wednesday the release of a new migration tool that will allow Symbian and Windows mobiles users to easily move to Android based phones without compromising their saved contacts, text messages and bookmarks

The migration process doesn’t require the inclusion of a desktop and offers its users two ways to transfer their data. The transfer can either be done using MicroSD card where tool users can insert a MicroSD card into the old device and copy all the information there or using online migration mode

The tool is compatible with Symbian S60 3rd edition and up, Windows Mobile 5 and later Professional edition phones. Target platform supported is Android 2.1 and up.
