User Access Control (UAC) helps Windows users protect their computers from unauthorized changes by asking their permission before performing any action that can possibly affect their computer operation. However for experienced users sometime UAC messages get really annoying.

Below are the exact steps needed to disable UAC under Windows Vista

1. Click on your Windows Start button then select Run OR press the Windows Key + R to open the Run window

2. Type ‘msconfig‘ inside the Run window then click OK

3. From the System Configuration window, click on the ‘Tools‘ tab, select ‘Disable UAC‘ from the table then click on the OK button

4. Restart your Windows

That should be it, now your Windows UAC is disabled
