Mar 31, 2011 – JDS Digital Security Systems announces the release of its newest Network Video Software, Streamcast. Streamcast will be on display at the ISC West show in Las Vegas April 6th-8th 2011.

StreamCast is a standalone software product designed to “re-serve” video via unicast IP connections. Multiple users can view live video from a single video stream. StreamCast enhances this ability by regulating connection time, frame rate and other parameters. This solution is ideal for environments where a higher number of connections to cameras are required. Varied resolutions can be delivered to each “client” based on settings in the software.

Streamcast can run in multiple modes including an on demand capability as well as a dedicated 24/7 recording solution. StreamCast is “front loaded” to the NVR thus making it compatible with nearly any NVMS.

StreamCast is an H.264 and MJPEG software, compatible with JDS camera partner cameras including; Axis, IQ Invision, Sentry360, Sony, Basler and others.
