Windows 7 offers its users an easy way to schedule routine backups for their important files. To schedule routine backups for your files under Windows 7, please follow those steps:

1. Click on your Windows ‘Start’ button, then select Control Panel >> System and Security >> Backup and Restore

2. Now click on ‘Set up backup’ on the right pane.

3. Follow the steps of the ‘Set up backup’ wizard to select your backup files destination and decide which files and folders you wish to backup

4. In the last step of the ‘Set up backup’ wizard you will notice a ‘Change Schedule’ link just below the backup summary table. Click on this link to decide how often you need to re-run the backup process
