April 12, 2011 – London – Grundig Business Systems (GBS), one of the world’s leading providers of professional dictation systems, has launched a new version of its speech processing software: DigtaSoft 4.7. This version has much to offer, such as its support of the new functions in the new Digta 7 dictation device line. For instance, the Digta 7 Premium can make stereo recordings in WAV format, such as in larger conference settings. With DigtaSoft Pro 4.7, not only has the playback control for WAV files been improved and a tone control been integrated, it’s also now possible to play back the channels of a stereo recording together or separately (only left, only right, or both).
Delivering What the Customer Wants
As with the development of the new “Digta 7” line, a good many customer requests were taken into consideration in developing DigtaSoft 4.7. Thus, not only .docx, .doc, .rtf and .txt data formats, but also PDF files can be attached to a dictation.
The customer who opts for DigtaSoft 4.7 also receives the new Digta Configurator with it. This was specially developed for the new Digta 7 product generation. With this product, GBS now provides a configuration tool that can make the many functions of this new product generation understandable for any user. “With the Digta Configurator, the Digta 7 and its predecessor, Digta 420, can be configured with just a few clicks“, according to GBS Managing Director Roland Hollstein. Not only does this make initial use faster and easier, it’s also a help for everyday use. Also, with the Digta Configurator the user can define profiles for a wide range of application scenarios.
