June 07, 2011 – Eden Prairie, MN – Skybot Software, a Help/Systems, LLC company, announces the release of Skybot Scheduler™ 2.0, the newest version of its Web-based enterprise scheduler and workload automation solution for Windows, UNIX (Solaris, AIX, HP-UX), and Linux servers.

Skybot Scheduler 2.0 lets users integrate Microsoft SQL Server jobs into their enterprise schedule. Skybot Scheduler can schedule and manage SQL Server jobs. This makes the powerful Skybot Scheduler functionality—reactive scheduling, job history, Dashboard, auditing—available for managing Microsoft SQL Server jobs across your Windows servers.

Skybot Scheduler 2.0 also includes the ability to launch GUI applications on connected Microsoft Windows systems. Users enter a job command to launch a GUI application on a connected server, where an operator can enter information. When the application is closed, Skybot Scheduler considers the command a success. This feature is useful when users need to manually enter information into a spreadsheet or modify a file as part of a scheduled job.
